Restoration of the Theodorian North Hall at the Basilica in Aquileia.

The work concerned the site of the Basilica in Aquileia (an area of approximately 1000 sq. m. and 2900 cu. m.) and its very important archeological evidence from both Theodorian and post-Theodorian periods.
The site was brought to light at the end of World War I and partially restored before the Jubilee 2000.

The completed tasks regarded mainly the consolidation of the covering and the sealed areas, the retrofitting of both ventilation and lighting systems, the restoration of the mosaic art apparatus and the archeological structures as well and, finally, the new exhibition design.
