The fitting-out work of the former Elementary School concerned the restoration of the façade. We operated with the extermination of mosses and lichens, the demolition and following restoration of the damaged plasters. We also carried out a careful revision and reconstruction of both decoration and frames.

The maintenance of the facades has been completed by applying the painting on the silicate elements twice and using colors and shades that had been previously agreed with the Sopraintendenza. The intention was to relive the original colors and shades obtained from a proper research on samplings taken directly from the parameter and also on photographic documentations.

The exceptional maintenance concerned the replacement of all the sheet metal and the existing metal doors and windows that didn’t have gasket seals. These windows and doors have been replaced with new ones with aluminum profiles and thermal break in compliance with the relevant safety regulations.
